There are lots of opportunities to get involved in volunteering.

Work Experience

Work experience is very important for improving your CV, learning new skills and building confidence in your abilities in the world of work.

Placements are usually unpaid and last a week or two (although they can be longer or shorter).

A lot of schools set time aside during Year 10 to do a work experience but you can organise a placement at any time of the year and at any age! If you are in school, then try to find out who the schools' work experience coordinator is and see what they can do to help you!

Applying for work experience is a lot like applying for a job and you should work on your CV and write a cover letter.

Below is a list of websites with information about work experiences and how to get a placement!
