The future of this website
Dear valued visitor
You may have noticed that we are undergoing a process of change within our website.
We want to let you know why.
Our website was first launched back in 2010. It was created to help adults with care needs who didn't qualify or need Council funded care and support to find providers of care and support who could help them. A kind of Yellow Pages of care providers.
Since then we have changed significantly - as has the world around around us, including the internet and the way that people use and access it.
During the last year we've spent a lot of time looking at what we do and how we do it. And we've focused on answering one question:
"how can we make it easier for you - our users - to find the information and advice that you need to live better lives?"
Whilst answering this question, we came to the realisation that change was required.
By the end of March 2019 we will be shut down.
Instead of having our separate website, we are moving all of the information from our website onto the Council's main website - www.bromley.gov.uk.
We are doing that as this will give you a single place to find information and advice. The main Council website also comes with the trusted .gov.uk web address and the trusted Council name. We know through our surveys and talking to our users that people tend to go to www.bromley.gov.uk before they come to us. By making this move, we are making it easier for you to find the information and advice you need.
We will be taking our information with us so you'll still get the same useful information with the same functionality - it will just look different.
We have already moved several areas of our website over to www.bromley.gov.uk and we will be moving the rest over between now and the end of March 2019.
Many thanks for joining us on our journey over the past 8 years.
Here's to a brighter future.
