About Preparing for Adulthood

Preparing for Adulthood is for young people aged 14 - 25 who have special educational needs or disabilities, preparing for adult life. There are four 'pathways' which are designed to help young people by giving information and support around employment, looking after yourself, staying healthy and being part of your community.
There is a national 'Preparing for Adulthood' campaign where you will find lots more information and stories from around the country. Click here to go to their website.
On this site, there are guides to lots of things, from carrying on with your education to shopping for food.
If there is something you think there should be a guide about but you can't find it, or if you have any comments about this page, then please email us to let us know.
