Bromley Portage Service
The Bromley Portage Service provides a home visiting educational service for pre-school children who have additional support needs and their families.
What is Bromley PortagePortage is part of the Pre-school Specialist Support and Disability Service, which includes the Outreach and Inclusion team, Phoenix Assessment Pre-School and Early Support Full Programme.
It is a free home visiting educational service for pre-school children who have Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND).
Children in Bromley can receive Portage from birth until they start in reception class.
The Portage Service liaises with other agencies, e.g. health service professionals and pre-schools.
The Bromley Portage Service is registered with the National Portage Association.
Children who have delay or needs in two or more areas of development or a diagnosis which may suggest this and who live in the London Borough of Bromley.
