Getting fit and doing good with GoodGym in Bromley

Budding runners interested in keeping fit and doing good are being invited to join the Bromley GoodGym runs.

The first Bromley GoodGym is meeting each Tuesday evening, with members being coached by a trainer as part of the run. Each week the group runs to a local community organisation or charity to help with a practical task they would be unable to do alone. Already, these tasks have included clearing litter and removing weeds from the grounds of a youth centre and clearing up a local nature reserve.

Runs currently start from Bromley Civic Centre each Tuesday evening at 6.30pm, with the run starting at 6.45pm. The physical activity will typically last for around 30 to 45 minutes, with the group then running back to the start venue by 8.15pm.
